I love to weave (and wear) shawls. I made a few some years ago and wore them a lot, then I began making them in earnest in 2018. I spilled a few hundred small balls of fine hand-dyed cotton yarn on the floor and started playing with colours. The fascination has continued to this day. There aren’t many left, so I’m slowly progressing to creating the idea then dyeing the yarn, but those fascinating hours playing with balls of colour to create something unique will be with me for a long time.
Most of the shawls on this page are all available for sale. Contact me if you think you might be interested! And if you are a weaver (or just interested) and want to know more about the draft, yarns, setts, or even a .wif file, email me and I’ll be happy to pass on detailed specs. Note for weavers: I’ve put the number of shafts used in parenthesis.
